Odisha government has decided to withdraw the advisors appointed in different departments

Bhubaneswar21/6/24: Odisha government has decided to withdraw the advisors appointed in different departments.

A press release from chief minister’s office (CMO) on Friday stated that the previous government had appointed several persons as advisors to its different departments.

“As no improvement was marked in implementation of government schemes or efficiency in its operation with the appointment of the advisors, chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi has issued the order to relieve them of their duties and responsibilities,” the release said.It may be noted that the previous BJD government had appointed more than 150 leaders of the party and some prominent persons as advisors to the departments.
