Heatwave continues to prevail in Odisha with several places recording the maximum day temperature of above 40°C

Bhubaneswar:26/4/24: Heatwave continues to prevail in Odisha with several places recording the maximum day temperature of above 40°C on Friday.

As per the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, as many as 32 places witnessed maximum day temperature above 40°C.

Angul is the hottest city in the state with 44.6°C followed by Boudh at 44.5°C and Nuapada & Balangir at 44°C each.

Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded day temperatures of 40.5°C and 40.8°C respectively.
