Odisha DGP Arun Kumar Sarangi reviewed the law and order situation in Malkangiri

Bhubaneswar:15/4/24: Odisha DGP Arun Kumar Sarangi on Monday reviewed the law and order situation in Malkangiri district ahead of the simultaneous elections in the State.

During his visit to the district, the DGP held discussions with SPs of Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur and Malkangiri, the DIG and the BSF officers on various issues for the smooth conduct of the elections.

The DGP also reviewed the situation in Swabhiman Anchal .

The presence of Maoists has not been seen in the Malkangiri district for one and a half years. However, special monitoring is being done in the district, said the DGP.

Several senior police officers were present in the review meeting of the DGP.
