Bhubaneswar:5/4/2 4: Odisha capital Bhubaneswar on Friday sizzled above temperature of 43 degrees Celsius.
As per the regional center of the IMD, Bhubaneswar recorded a day temperature of 43.2 degrees Celsius by 2.30 pm today.
For the first time this season, the temperature has reached above 43 degrees in a state city.
By 11:30 am today, the temperature in Bhubaneswar was recorded at 39.8 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the heat wave condition continues to prevail in various places of the State with Sambalpur recording 40.8°C, Hirakud 40.6°C, Chandbali: 40.6°C, Jharsuguda: 40.2°C, Rourkela: 39.6°C, Keonjhar: 39°C, Balasore 37.8°C, Puri: 33°C, Gopalpur: 32.2°C and Paradip: 32°C.
