Bhrugu Baxipatra of BJP has joined the Biju Janata Dal

Bhubaneswar3/4/24: In an important development before the upcoming elections, Bhrugu Baxipatra, former Vice-president of Odisha Bharatiya Janata Party, who resigned from the saffron party today morning, has joined the Biju Janata Dal. He joined the ruling party in presence of senior leaders Manas Mangaraj, Sasmit Patra, Chandrasekhar Sahu, Bikram Panda, and others. Bhrugu Baxipatra had contested from the Berhampur Lok Sabha Constituency on BJP ticket in 2019 and had received more than three lakh votes. He has a mass following in Ganjam District and is a grassroots-level leader. He is the son of former MLA late Harish Chandra Baxipatra.
