Odisha CM called upon everyone to work for a New Odisha, an Empowered Odisha

Bhubaneswar:9/3/24:Attending the orientation programme for newly recruited 1,294 officials, CM Naveen Patnaik said Govt is working hard to bring transformative changes in the lives of people. He directed the officials to work with sincerity & commitment.

A total of 725 officials joined Education Odisha, 280 in the Finance Department, Government of Odisha & 129 in Rural Development Odisha. Besides, 160 outstanding sportspersons joined the Steel and Mines Department, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Government of Odisha, Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha, School and Mass Education Department & Home Department, Government of Odisha. Mentioning that over the past few years, Odisha Govt has been recruiting regularly, CM said this strengthens the capacity to serve the people.

Expressing happiness over appointment of sportspersons, CM said this will certainly encourage the budding sporting talents. Considering that the entire four & a half crore people of Odisha as his family members, CM said Govt should serve them with dignity.

CM said #5T Initiative has been very effective in bringing visible transformation in every sector & every region of the State. CM added Odisha is now a model for other states in many areas. He hoped the recruits would learn the mechanisms of #5T & reflect it in the work in letter and spirit. CM called upon everyone to work for a New Odisha, an Empowered Odisha.
