Chairman 5T, and NabinOdisha,Kartik Pandian attended the NuaOScholarship Distribution at Programme at Baleswar

Baleswar:29/2/24:  As per the direction of CM Naveen Patnaik, Chairman 5T, and NabinOdisha, Shri Kartik Pandian visited Baleswar district and attended the NuaOScholarship Distribution Programme. Shri Pandian distributed NuaO Scholarship Sanction Orders to students. A total of 30,926 eligible students from 71 colleges of Baleswar received the scholarship worth about ₹30.6 Cr.

He conveyed message of CM who wished students all the best for their future and said that this initiative would help achieve dream of NuaOdisha. Shri Pandian said Odisha Govt’s next major initiative will be to cover all students through launch of futuristic NabinOdishaMagicCard. It is a points-system-based smart card that will engage and empower youth enabling them to improve personality, skill, and academic development apart from employment.

The online registration portal for this card will be launched on March 5, 2024, while it will be distributed on August 15, 2024. All students of UG and PG courses without any income criteria will be eligible to apply for the smart card, Shri Pandian said while interacting with students during the program. Thrilled to receive sanction orders and credit in bank accounts, students thanked the CM &5T Chairman for the speedy execution of the initiative.

Later, 5T Chairman visited the Memorial for Manmath Das and Manoj Das in Bhograi. He hailed the contribution of the great souls towards the academic and literary development in Odisha and thanked the family members for donating the land for the memorial.
