One-day workshop focusing on the IT preparedness in the districts was held at the office of Chief Electoral Officer

Bhubaneswar:27/2/24: A one-day workshop focusing on the IT preparedness in the districts for the ensuing 2024 general elections was held at the office of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Odisha.

The 30 IT district nodal officers from all districts of the State attended the workshop.

Experts from the OCAC contributed as resource persons in the workshop. They shared valuable insights on incident management and security measures crucial for the smooth conduct of elections.

CEO Nikunja Bihari Dhal addressed the district IT nodal officers, emphasizing the importance of strengthening district IT teams and adhering to various security protocols during the election process.

The application of technology in the electoral process is very important as its application makes it easier and more efficient, he said.
