CM Naveen Inaugurates Gangadhar Meher Lift Irrigation Project

Bargarh:20/2/24: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of various development projects during his visit to Bargarh district. The Chief Minister inaugurated the Gangadhar Meher Lift Irrigation Project, a mega irrigation project in the district. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the 100-bed Cancer Hospital in Bargarh.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Odisha is going through transformation. Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana – BSKY has become a blessing for 4 crore people. Odisha is now providing food to the entire country. The Chief Minister also said that the farmers of Bargarh have contributed to making Odisha self-sufficient in food grains. The Gangadhar Meher Lift Irrigation Project started supplying water to the fields today. This will irrigate more than 60,000 acres of land, Naveen said.
