First NUA Odisha Global Summit on Growth & Employment is being organised in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: 19/2/24: “The first NUA Odisha Global Summit on Growth & Employment is a platform to understand the trends and set a clear path for the future of our youth.” said Hon’ble CMO Odisha Shri Naveen Patnaik.

Addressing the gathering at the NUA Odisha Global Summit on Growth & Employment, the Hon’ble CM said “In the age of rapidly changing technology, we must be in a position to swiftly adapt to the new socio-economic structure. Our youth must be future-ready”.

“I believe this summit will lay the foundation for identifying potential growth sectors, future workforce strategies, innovative job creation & opportunities, and developing a Skilled In Odisha roadmap for upcoming industries”, the Hon’ble CM remarked while thanking everyone. Over 500 prominent personalities from various industries, more than 100 distinguished speakers, policymakers officials, and experts related to the field of skill development have participated in it.

Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary of Skill Development and Technical Education Department, Alka Misra, Chairperson, Odisha Skill Development Authority (OSDA), and Reghu G, CEO OSDA cum Director SDTE spoke at the opening session and welcomed the industry leaders and stakeholders.

They deliberated the gathering about the ongoing initiatives of the State Government to empower the youth with future-ready skills. More than 10 motivational seminars will be organised during the two-day conference.

This 2-day dynamic summit in Bhubaneswar sets out to explore the future landscape of industry-ready skills, delve into the remarkable growth narrative of Odisha and unveil the boundless opportunities awaiting the youth.
