Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh to Be Sworn in as Chief Justice of Orissa Highcourt

Cuttack:6/2/24: Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh will be sworn in as Chief Justice of Orissa High Court tomorrow.

The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place at 10 am in the eastern side lawn (old building) of the High Court of Orissa.

The post of Orissa High Court Chief Justice has been vacant since October 3 following the retirement of Justice Subhasis Talapatra.

Justice Singh, who was appointed as a judge of the High Court of Judicature at Patna on April 5 2012, has been acting as the senior-most judge. He was enrolled at the Bar in 1990 and practised at the High Court of Judicature at Patna, dealing with constitutional, service, criminal, and arbitration matters.
