IAS Reshuffle: 17 District Collectors Transferred

Bhubaneswar:22/1/24: The Odisha government on Monday appointed Shree Jagannath Temple Administration Ranjan Kumar Das as the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Central Division), Cuttack.

He will also remain in additional charge of Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Southern Division), Berhampur.

Several districts in Odisha also got new collectors in the IAS reshuffle. Ten IAS officers of 2018 and 2019 batches have also been appointed district collectors for the first time while those 2020 & 2021 batch as ADMs & sub-collectors, according to the release issued by the General Administration department.

>> Puri collector Samarth Verma has been appointed as Additional Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, Puri. Secretary, State Election Commission, Bhubaneswar, Bijay Kumar Das will replace him as Puri collector.

>> Khurda collector K Sudarshan Chakravarthy has been appointed as Director of Minor Minerals, Bhubaneswar. Balangir collector Chanchal Rana will replace him as Khurda collectorGaurav Shivaji Isalwar, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Koraput, has been appointed as Balangir collector.

Commissioner, Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), Nikhil Pavan Kalyan has been appointed as Director of Rural Development. Angul collector Siddharth Shankar Swain will replace him as CMC Commissioner. Koraput collector Abdaal Akhtar has been shifted to Angul. CDO-cum-E0 ‘Zilla Parishad’, Ganjam, Keerthi Vasan has been appointed as Koraput collector.

>> Bargarh collector Monisha Banerjee has been posted as Director, SocialWelfare. Her predecessor Lingraj Panda has been appointed Joint Secretary to Government, Cooperation Department. Aditya Goyal, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Bargarh has been appointed as collector of Bargarh.

>> Keonjhar Collector Ashish Thakare has been shifted to Mayurbhanj, while his predecessor Vineet Bharadwaj will now take charge as Cuttack collector, replacing Narahari Sethy, an OAS(SAG), who has been posted as Additional Secretary to Government, Water Resources Department. Malkangiri collector Vishal Singh will replace Thakare as Keonjhar collectorPawar Sachin Prakash, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Kalahandi, has been appointed as collector of Malkangiri.

>> Sambalpur collector Ananya Das has been appointed as Joint Secretary to Government, Handloom Textiles & Handicrafts Department. Mayurbhanj collector Akshay Sunil Agrawal will replace her as collector of Sambalpur.

>> Rayagada collector Swadha Dev Singh has been posted as Nayagarh collector. Manoj Satyawan Mahajan, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Sundargarh, will replace her as collector of Rayagada.

>> Commissioner of Berhampur Municipal Corporation J Sonal has been appointed as collector of Boudh. Madhumita, Sub-Collector, Baliguda with additional charge of Executive Officer, NAC, Baliguda, will replace her. Nrusingha Charan Swain, an OAS officer serving as Boudh collector, has been posted as Special Secretary to Government, Revenue & DM Department.

>> Anya Das, CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Nabarangpur, is the new collector of Sonepur. Her predecessor, Bimalendu Ray, an OAS officer, has been transferred and posted as Director, EPM.

>> Kendrapada collector Amrit Ruturaj has been appointed Labour Commissioner, Odisha, Bhubaneswar. Additional Commissioner, BMC, Suryawanshi Mayur Vikas will replace him as collector of Kendrapada.

>> Jajpur Collector Chakravarthi Singh Rathore has been appointed as Joint Secretary to Government, Panchayati Raj Drinking Water Department. Subhankar Mohapatra, who was serving as Commissioner, Rourkela Municipal Commissioner, with additional charge of CEO, Rourkela Smart City Limited, ADM, Rourkela, and Secretary, Rourkela Development Authority, will replace him as collector of Jajpur.

>> Kulakarni Ashutosh C, Sub-Collector of Berhampur with an additional charge of Administrator, Jama Masjid, Berhampur, has been appointed as Commissioner, Rourkela Municipal Corporation. He will remain in additional charge of CEO, Rourkela Smart City Limited, ADM/Rourkela, and Secretary, Rourkela Development Authority.

>> Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Southern Division), Berhampur, Temjenwapang Ao has been appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Public Enterprises Department.

>> Dhiman Chakma has been appointed sub-collector, Dharmagarh, Kalahandi. Rehan Khatri has been appointed as sub-collector of Titlagarh, Balangir. Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke posted as sub-collector of Balasore. Kirandeep Kaur Sahota has been appointed sub-collector, Gunpur, Rayagada. Rina Pradhan posted as sub-collector of Baliguda, Kandhamal. Dheenah Dastagar has been appointed as Berhampur sub-collector. Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak, Sub-Collector, Kuchinda, has been appointed as Additional District Magistrate, Mayurbhanj.
