Odisha Receives “Best State” Award for Proactive Approach in Regional Connectivity Scheme

Bhubaneswar:19/1/24: Odisha has received the “Best State” award for its proactive approach in “Regional Connectivity Scheme” at the Wings India 2024, Asia’s largest event on civil aviation.

“Odisha has been conferred as the “Best State” for its proactive approach in “Regional Connectivity Scheme” at Wings India 2024, Hyderabad. Such recognition encourages us to do more”, stated the Commerce & Transport Department.

Odisha is the only state to support regional and commercially unviable routes, it added.

Wings India 2024’ is being organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, GoI along with Airports Authority of India and FICCI on the theme ‘About Wings India 2024: Laying the Groundwork for Indian Civil Aviation by 2047 in Amrit Kamal: Linking India to the World’.
