Bhubaneswar:6/1/24: The Odisha Drivers Mahasangha’s ‘Quit steering’ stir was called off on Saturday evening.
Mahasangha’s president Prasanta Menduli informed it to the reporters.
During the interaction, Menduli said, the Mahasangha called off its agitation following a fruitful discussion with Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur on Saturday who assured to fulfill the demands of the forum.
Prasanta Menduli, Mahasangha’s president appealed to the Mahasangha’s members to withdraw from the agitation as the State government considered their demands.
Menduli, however, said the Mahasangha would decide its next plan of action against the Centre’s new ‘Hit & Run’ law on Monday.
