High-level review meeting has been held on the progress of the Shrimandir Parikrama project

Puri:6/1/24 A high-level review meeting on the progress of the Shrimandir Parikrama project has been held today in Puri under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shri Pradeep Kumar Jena. The Secretary reviewed the construction works, sanitation, transportation, drinking water supply, and uninterrupted power supply. Shri Pradeep Kumar Jena has ordered to complete all the works related to the Parikrama project on a wartime basis by the evening of 12th January 2024.

Presiding over this important meeting, Mr. Jena said that the seeding for the temple’s circumambulation project will begin on the 12th and the project will be inaugurated on the 17th. From that point of view, the number of devotees and devotees in the shrine will increase unexpectedly. So he ordered to make all arrangements for vehicular movement and civic amenities.

Traffic control rooms will be opened in different parts of the city by the police. A cultural program will be held every evening along with a special exhibition next to Jagannath Ballab. Rice will be collected from various panchayats of the state for the work of Mahaprabhu and the temple authorities will arrange for their storage.

The Sankittan congregation will make a grand circuit with seven well-equipped chariots. Broadcasting of Parikrama project launch programs will be done through satellite. A media lounge will be opened for media representatives. Similarly, it was decided in the meeting to arrange emergency medical services, adequate lighting system, and CCTV cameras.
