27th Foundation Day of the BJD was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the party workers and leaders

Bhubaneswar:26/12/23: The Biju Janata Dal will continue to work with determination for the development of Odisha and the people of the State, said Chief Minister and BJD President Naveen Patnaik on the occasion of 27th Foundation Day of the BJD.

The Biju Janata Dal was founded on December 26, 1997 to work for the development of the people by following the ideals of the legendary Biju Babu. For 26 years, the party has been relentlessly serving the people of Odisha and working dedicatedly for the development of Odisha. Today, due to its service and social commitment, it has gained admirable recognition as the best regional party in the country and has become a social movement, said the BJD President.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister garlanded the statue of legendary leader Biju Patnaik near Bhubaneswar Airport.

5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian also paid his humble tributes to the legendary leader.

The 27th Foundation Day of the BJD was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the party workers and leaders in all 147 constituencies of the State.

Lakhs of party workers attended the programmes and organized various social and service events. They also took oath to serve the people of Odisha protect the interests of Odisha and build a strong, prosperous, and new Odisha.

Earlier this morning, the BJD flag was hoisted at Shankha Bhawan and an oath-taking ceremony was held at the party office. Party Vice President Debi Prasad Mishra, General Secretary Sanjay Das Burma, and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sasmit Patra were present on the occasion.

A mega bicycle rally was also organized by the party from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar. Led by BJD Organisational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das, the rally saw participation of several senior leaders and party workers. A blood donation camp was also organized at Shankha Bhawan.
