MBBS Classes operationalized in 12 out of 16 New AIIMS

Newdelhi:19/12/23:Setting up of 22 new All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) across the country has been sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). Out of the sanctioned 22 AIIMS, 6 AIIMS at Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Jodhpur (Rajasthan), Patna (Bihar), Raipur (Chhattisgarh) and Rishikesh (Uttarakhand) became operational in 2012.  Details of remaining 16 AIIMS is at Annexure.

The Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar stated this in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.
