5T, and Nabin Odisha Chairman has visited Ganjam to review the progress of various developmental works in the district

Ganjam: 17/12/23:  As per the direction of CM Naveen Patnaik, 5T, and Nabin Odisha Chairman, Kartik Pandian visited Ganjam to review the progress of various developmental works in the district. He visited MKCG Medical College and Hospital (MCH) early in the morning and interacted with the students and staff.

Shri Pandian discussed the master plan for the transformation of the hospital and health services. He reviewed ongoing developmental works including the construction of Cancer Care Centre at a cost of ₹76 Cr. The 5T Chairman reviewed the ongoing Berhampur Ring Road Project work at a cost of ₹220 Cr. The project is expected to be completed by December 2025. He thanked the people for cooperating in land acquisition.

Shri Pandian directed the administration to ensure that all 5T College Transformation projects are completed by the last week of February. He reviewed the Markandi (₹93 Cr) and Haripur (₹84 Cr) projects in Gopalpur which will help in river mouth opening & support fishermen. In Chatrapur, Shri Pandian reviewed the instream storage structure at Kansariganda on Rushikulya River. Visiting Khallikote, Shri Pandian reviewed the Mega Piped water supply scheme (Salia Dam) at a project cost of ₹114 Cr. In Polsara and K. S. Nagar, 5T Chairman reviewed the ongoing Mega Piped Water supply scheme at a cost of ₹1,572 Cr which will benefit 11 blocks. In Aska, he reviewed the project proposal for SDH Aska at a cost of ₹50 cr.

Shri Pandian reviewed the ongoing projects in Bhanjanagar including the Mega Piped water supply (₹1,913 Cr), Nuagaon Distributary under Rushikulya irrigation system (₹120 Cr) and Instream storage structure Dholopita over Badanadi river (₹30.62 Cr). He also reviewed the progress of ongoing temple transformation projects – Dhabaleswar Temple in Rangeilunda at a cost of ₹1.88 Cr; Sundareswar Temple, Chatrapur at a cost of ₹1.50 Cr; Tumbeswar Temple, Purushottampur at a cost of ₹1.20 Cr; Marda Jagannath Temple, Polsara at a cost of ₹1.98 Cr; Athagada Jagannath Temple, Kabisuryanagar at a cost of ₹1.98 Cr; Maa Khambeswari Temple at a cost of ₹1.08 Cr; Lord Jagannath Temple & Maa Byagarhadevi Temple at Kullada, Bhanjanagar at a cost of ₹1.88 Cr.
