Residents of Choudwar extended their heartfelt gratitude for setting up the Welspun Textile Park in their area

Bhubaneswar:10/12/23: The residents of Choudwar met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and extended their heartfelt gratitude for setting up the Welspun Textile Park in Choudwar.

The State Cabinet led by the Chief Minister has recently approved a proposal for establishment of an Integrated Textiles Manufacturing Unit of Welspun Group with an investment of ₹3,000 Cr.

The Integrated Textiles Manufacturing Unit in Choudwar is going to revive the textiles manufacturing tradition at Choudwar. This project is expected to generate over 10,000 direct jobs and an equal number of indirect jobs, significantly impacting the socio-economic fabric of the region. The diversity of roles created will span from manufacturing to management, requiring extensive skill development initiatives and contributing to robust human resource development in the area.

The residents of Choudwar expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for the mega project in their area.
