Odisha Chief Minister virtually launched LAccMI Bus service for Rayagada

Bhubaneswar:25/11/23:  Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched the LAccMI Bus service in Rayagada district.

Congratulating the people of Rayagada on the occasion, CM Naveen said that all the 182 panchayats will get connected with the LAccMI buses as 52 buses will run under the scheme in Rayagada district. Three hundred bus stops have also been set up for this purpose.

Launching the service virtually, Naveen said that the Laxmi Bus will bring happiness and prosperity to all households. It will bring transformation in the rural transportation. It will bring mobility and prosperity among the people of the villages, he said.

Naveen said that people’s feedback is most important for me and after receiving the feedback during the CMO’s visit to the districts, the LAccMI Scheme was initiated. He also said that the LAccMI Bus will connect the villages build social connections and strengthen the rural economy.

Saying that communication is the engine of development, the LAccMI Bus will connect students with schools and colleges, farmers to markets and take the sick to hospitals. For the mothers, it will be the main driver of various works, he said. It is worth mentioning here that the purpose of the scheme is to strengthen the local transport communication facility and propel regional economic prosperity and tourism development.

Throwing light on Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha, the Chief Minister said that more than 2,600 projects are being undertaken in Rayagada district with an investment of more than Rs 90 crore. He said that Jagannath culture is being spread in villages and digital infrastructure is being improved. Naveen said that Panchayats are the main focus of the development program of the government.

Commerce and Transport Minister Tukuni Sahu, who was present at the launching event, said that CM Naveen has brought Goddess Laxmi to every household by launching the Laxmi Bus service during the Margasira month. Today, women are excelling in all fields. Due to the efforts of the Chief Minister women in Odisha have been empowered, she said.

ST & SC Development Minister Jagannath Saraka said that farmers, traders and mothers will benefit following the introduction of LAccMI bus service.

5T Chairman VK Pandian coordinated the program and said that he visited the districts on the directions of the Chief Minister. After he appraised the CM about the various proposals and grievances received from the people of Rayagada, the Chief Minister gave special approval for the development of the temples, mathas and other projects. The Chief Minister gives utmost importance to the people’s feedback, Pandian added.
