Odisha Cabinet approved the construction of Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Project Phase-I.

Bhubaneswar:14/11/23: The Odisha Cabinet led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the construction of Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Project Phase-I.The metro rail project to be carried out under 5T initiative will facilitate comfortable, safer, and convenient transportation for the people. The estimated cost of 26-km long Phase-I metro rail project from Bhubaneswar Airport to Trisulia Square is Rs 5,929.38 crore.

The Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Corporation Ltd will execute the project through the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, which has been engaged as a turn-key consultant.
