Premiere music body “The Evergreen” conducts it General Body Meeting

Bhubaneswar:5/11/23:The Evergreen, one of the leading musical organisations in Bhubaneswar, conducted its General Body Meeting on 3^rd November at the Buddha Mandir, Bhubaneswar. It was attended by music lovers from all walks of life and the Life Members of the organisation.The group, established in 2010, has been successfully organising various programs showcasing memorable vintage songs composed by great composers of the Golden era. Catering to niche concert themes, the group has acquired a good reputation in the music world.

The meeting was presided over by Shri Kamalakanta Mohanty, Chairman, The Evergreen. The Trustees, Shri Golak Bihari Mishra, Shri Lalatendu Rath, Shri Prafulla Tripathy, and Dr. Mrs. Adyasha Das also shared their vision and view on the occasion.Having taken a retrospective look at their footprints so far, the trustees spoke about their future plans. With a core mission to safeguard the legacy of timeless tunes, The Evergreen would undertake various initiatives including archiving classic music, fostering music educational programs, organizing live events that celebrate the enchanting sounds of yesteryears, honouring eminent artists and their contributions, and also to introduce these melodies to newer generations, ensuring the continuity of this rich musical heritage. The event concluded with a melodious musical evening enriched by the songs of its members.
