Odisha Chief Minister launched ‘Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha’ scheme in Ganjam and Subarnapur district

Bhubaneswar:2/11/23: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday launched ‘Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha’ scheme in Ganjam and Subarnapur district. Launching the scheme through video conference, Patnaik said it will strengthen the infrastructure with a focus on every village and every Panchayat in the state.

Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik has inaugurated it by giving importance to the development of infrastructure along with the benefits of the people. Approved ₹54. 1,419 projects will be implemented in 109 Gram Panchayats out of 50 crores. Including this, on the basis of feedback received during the district visit of the Chief Minister’s Office, ₹2,059 for 19 projects. 32 crore has been approved. This money will be spent on the development of water conservation facilities, tourism, education, and roads in the district. Along with the expansion of Jagannath culture in rural areas, the development of digital infrastructure as well as art, culture, and history will be even more enriched.

To accelerate the development of rural areas, Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik has inaugurated ‘Aam Odisha Naveen Odisha’ program in Ganjam district. Under this scheme 5,706 projects will be implemented in 12 constituencies of the district. This is why the state government is ₹251. Going to spend 50 crores.

Each panchayat will be given a grant of 50 lakh rupees. Along with this, according to the opinion of the people received during the district visit of the Chief Minister’s Office ₹122 for 57 projects. 18 crore has been approved. The projects that will be implemented will bring about the benefits of the people and infrastructure improvements.

Speaking on the occasion, Patnaik said the main objective of the scheme is to develop digital infrastructure in villages. The villagers will get internet and banking services. Science Park, skill development centers will be set up and the villages will become work hubs, the CM added. Patnaik further said the primary schools of villages would be roped into this program. People in 12 Assembly constituencies of Ganjam and two constituencies of Subarnapur attended the program.

Nabin Odisha and 5T chairman VK Pandian, who coordinated the event, said that the program has created enthusiasm among the people. Ganjam has performed best among all in the country and has received an award from the Government of India as the number one district. Similarly, Hinjili block has received an award as the best performer in the country.

Minister Bikram Keshari Arukha, Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Minister Pradeep Amat, Minister Usha Devi, Minister Niranjan Pujari, MLA Subash Chandra Behera, MLA Suryamani Baida, MLA Manjula Swain, MLA Purnachandra Swain, MLA Shrikant Sahu, MLA Latika Pradhan, MLA Padmanav Behera and ZP chairman and members, Block Chairman, local Sarpanch participated in the virtual event.

Minister Bikram Keshari Arukha was present in Bhanjnagar. He said that the Chief Minister has created history in the country by launching new schemes. Latika Pradhan said that the 5T chairman promised to approve our proposals within seven days. But, within five days, all our projects were sanctioned. Chhatrapur MLA Subash Chandra Behera said that the ability of 5T chairman to implement the dream of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is unmatched.

Minister Niranjan Pujari who was present at Dunguripalli in Subarnapur, said that due to Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha program, Jagannath culture and our local culture will also develop. All the ministers and MLAs said that they have never seen such rapid progress in project approval and implementation in the State.
