Odisha Chief Minister has taken a historic decision to solve the land problems in various places and give lease to the people

Bhubaneswar:18/10/23: Odisha Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik has taken a historic decision to solve the land problems in various places and give lease to the people. Earlier, the Hirakud dam of Jharsuguda was displaced, a policy decision was taken to solve the land possession problem in Ganjam Sorada block, Puri municipality. Today a decision has been taken to solve the land problem of Sikkim farmers and the land problem of Hirakud Basachyut of Rengali Tahasil of Sambalpur district.

Chief Minister’s 5-T Secretaries Shri V. K. During Pandian district tour, received many complaints related to land possession from people. Three meetings were held with the Revenue and Disaster Management Department in the first and second weeks of September on the instruction of the Chief Minister. Another high-level meeting was held today regarding the progress of the decision made at that review meeting.

Instructions have been given to solve the problem of old land ownership through hi-tech survey in Kurla, Thuntiktarabaga, Yogipalli, Sapne village under Rengali Tahasil of Sambalpur district which was destructed due to Hirakud project. It is advised to solve the land problem by completing the survey work as soon as possible.

Similarly, ethical decisions have been taken for permanent solution to the land problems of Sikkim farmers. By this, about 2 lakh small and name farmers of Cuttack, Puri and Baleswar districts will be benefited.
