5T Secretary has discussed different programs of 9 tribal districts separate development council

Bhubaneswar:7/10/23:Today 5 T secretary Sri V K Pandian has discussed different programs of 9 tribal districts separate development council. In this meeting, 5 secretaries have discussed with the district president of the council including the collectors of 9 districts.

During the discussion, Shri Pandian explained to the members the objectives and standpoint of the Chief Minister for the formation of a separate development council. He said that the formation of a separate development council is a historic step by Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik.

Five secretaries advised the councils to prepare a ‘Tribal Cultural Calendar’ specifically for the promotion of tribal culture. Details about festivals of tribal communities, tribal sports programs, tribal festivals, and other programs will be mentioned in the calendar. During this discussion, Chief Minister for Special Development Council Shri Naveen Patnaik 175 Sri Pandian informed that he has approved an additional grant of Rs 5 crore.
