Secy to CM (5T) V K Pandian reviewed the progress of ongoing Mega Piped Water Supply Schemes

Mayurbhanj:12/8/23:  During the 2nd day of visit to Mayurbhanj district, Secy to CM (5T) V K Pandian reviewed the progress of ongoing Mega Piped Water Supply Schemes and Multi Village Piped Water Schemes at a cost of ₹2127 Cr in Bangriposi, Samakhunta, Kuliana, Suliapda, Morada, Rasgovindpur, Betnoti, Udala, Gopabandhu Nagar, Kaptipada, Tiring, Bahalda, Jamda, Rairangpur, Saraskana & Bisoi Blocks.
The projects will be operationalised in phases from Oct 2023 onwards. Shri Pandian directed the officials to ensure completion within the timelines & later reviewed the ongoing Subarnarekha Irrigation project works. Currently, 20,000 Ac of land in Betnoti block is covered, which will increase to 72,000 Ac in the coming years, while 11,000 Ac in Badasahi will be covered.

The 5T Secy also reviewed the progress of ongoing Mega Lift Irrigation Projects at a cost of ₹179 Cr that will irrigate 14,910 Ac of land in Kuliana, Betnoti and Saraskana Blocks which are in Tender Stage. He directed the officials to ensure completion within the timelines.
Shri Pandian also reviewed the progress of various road projects at a cost ₹245 Cr in Bangriposi, Morada and Udala Blocks, and the progress of AmaHospitals. During the visit, the Secy participated in the public grievance meetings at Bangriposi, Morada, Betnoti and Udala.

Interacting with the public regarding their grievances, the 5T Secy conveyed that CM Naveen Patnaik gives top priority towards citizen grievances & assured early resolution of the submitted petitions. He also interacted with Mission Shakti Odisha Groups in Baripada and assured them support from the #Odisha Govt for their activities. Later, the Secy visited the MissionShakti Cafe in Baripada and appreciated the initiative.
