Bhubaneswar, 29/07/2023: In the journey of its first decade, AIIMS Bhubaneswar has been contributing immensely providing health care delivery in Odisha as well as neighbouring states. It has created a new brand in the country and shows a path to the other national health care institutes, said Sudhansh Pant, OSD, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Shri Pant  visited AIIMS Bhubaneswar on 28th,July  to assess the hospital’s healthcare facilities and patient care services. During his visit, Shri Pant interacted with the patients, held discussions with the faculties, and toured various advanced treatment facilities within the hospital.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar Executive Director Dr. Ashutosh Biswas welcoming OSD Shri Pant to the national institute highlighted the achievements and the future plans.

During his interaction with the patients, Sudhansh Pant expressed his compassion for their well-being and listened attentively to their feedback regarding the healthcare services they received. He lauded the efforts of the hospital staff in providing compassionate and effective medical care to the patients.

Furthermore, Shri Pant engaged in fruitful discussions with the faculties, acknowledging their dedication and hard work in ensuring that AIIMS Bhubaneswar remains at the forefront of medical research and education. He encouraged the faculty members to continue their efforts in advancing medical knowledge and skills to benefit patients and contribute to the nation’s healthcare sector.

The OSD visited various advanced treatment facilities at AIIMS Bhubaneswar and was impressed by the state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge technologies used in diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions. He recognized the importance of such advancements in improving patient outcomes and commended the hospital’s commitment to embracing innovation in healthcare.

In light of his visit and comprehensive assessment of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Sudhansh Pant expressed his sincere appreciation for the institution’s contribution to the healthcare sector. It may be noted here that Shri Pant will assume the charge of Union Health Secretary from 31st of this month. DEAN Dr. P R Mohapatra, Dr. Satyajit Mishra, Dr. Soubhagya Jena, Medical Superintendent(I/c) Dr. Prabhas Ranjan Tripathy, DDA Ravi Prakash, SAO Rasmi Ranjan Sethy and other senior officials were also present during the visit
