Secretary to CM (5T) Shri VK Pandian visited Boudh to review the progress of various developmental projects

As per the direction of CM Shri Naveen Patnaik, Secretary to CM (5T) Shri VK Pandian visited Boudh district to review the progress of various developmental projects in the district and redressal of public grievances.5T Secy reviewed progress of Parbati Giri Mega Lift irrigation projects in Boudh under Cluster V with 5 projects being implemented at a cost of ₹247 Cr. The projects are nearing completion & will be operational in July, providing irrigation to 8570Ha of land across 3 blocks.
Shri Pandian also reviewed the ₹770 Cr mega piped water supply projects in Boudh district

 While Kantamal and Boudh blocks will get water supply by September 2023, Harbhanga block will get supply by June 2024. Secy asked officials to strictly follow timelines.During his visit to the Ambagaon High School covered under OdishaSchoolTransformation Programme, the Secy also interacted with students of the school & encouraged them to study well and achieve their goals. He interacted with Mission Shakti Odisha groups & federations in Boudh.

The 5T Secretary interacted with the weaver community and explained to them about various government schemes to support them. He directed the administration to ensure all the pending applications under the schemes are taken up on priority.Interacting with students of +2 & degree colleges, he informed about the approval of CM Naveen Patnaik to take up all the colleges under 5T transformation & sanction of ₹6.75 Cr. He motivated them to study well & built their personality through physical exercises and meditation

Later, the Secy proceeded to Chandrachud temple and visited the newly constructed ‘Arati Ghat’. He also visited Maa Bhairabi Temple. Secy held discussions regarding the development of pilgrim facilities & beautification of the Maa Bhairabi Temple & Chandrachud Temple.
