THIRD AKSHAYA UPANYASA PURASKAR for writer NIRMAL ROUT.

Bhubaneswar:22/6/23:The Pratibha Ray Foundation Trust has immense pleasure in announcing the result of the Third Akshaya Memorial Award for novel writing in Odia for writers below fifty years.The selection commitee short-listed 6 books out of  20 entries & unanimously declared writer Nirmal Rout  as the winner of the Third Akshaya Upanyasa Puraskar for his novel ” Galani Ta Gala Katha”, Banaphula Publications.

he award carries with it a trophy, citation & cash  prize of Rs 51,000/-.The award will be given away in an exclusive ceremony on 20th July  2023, 6 p.m. at Jaydeb Bhawan, Bhubaneswar as informed by Dr.Adyasha Das on behalf of Pratibha Ray Foundation Trust.

He had made solid contribution on cinema in many odia Dailies and weekly such as Samaj, Prajatantra, Dharatri, Samaya, Satabadi, and weekly Samaya.
