Review meeting on Regulated Marketing Societies (RMCs) Kendupatna and Narsinghpur was held

Bhubaneswar: A review meeting on Regulated Marketing Societies (RMCs) Kendupatna and Narsinghpur was held in Lok Seva Bhawan today Chaired by Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Minister Food Supply & Consumer Welfare, Cooperation, Higher Education.

A detailed discussion was made on existing infrastructure available in the market yards , number of blocks not covered for establishing market yards in the area of operation, surplus agricultural produce available under its marketing channels , action plan for creating proposed infrastructure ,steps taken by RMCs for construction of Integrated Pack House, action plan to improvement of different facilities. Both the RMCs have been integrated with e-NAM. There was a discussion on proper utilization of main market yard of RMC Kendupatna at Kulia and improvement of facilities of CDA Krushak Bazar also.
