Delegation of six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers paid visits to various offices of the School & Mass Education Department

Bhubaneswar: A delegation of six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, who are currently undergoing training at Gopabandhu Academy of Administration in Bhubaneswar, paid visits to various offices of the School & Mass Education Department on Thursday.

As part of their exposure visit, the 2022 batch of IAS probationers visited the state office of Mo School, Odisha State Education Programme Authority and the Iconic OAV in Andharua, Bhubaneswar.

Anupam Saha, SPD-OSEPA, oriented the officer trainees on the 5T High School Transformation Programme and the unique initiatives of the School & Mass Education Department.

Durga Prasad Mohapatra, SPD-OAVS, Sri Amarjit Jena, CEO of Mo School, and other senior officials of Mo School introduced the IAS probationers to ‘Mo School’ and its status as one of the largest alumni connect programs in the world through alumni and community mobilization.

The officers were oriented about the 5T High School Transformation Programme, Mukhyamantri Sikhya Puraskar, Mo School Abhiyan, Samgra Shiksha, Mid-Day Meal and other major initiatives of the department.

These 2022 batch IAS officers of Odisha Cadre will undergo training at the state level as well as in Mayurbhanj, Ganjam, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, and Koraput districts for one year.

After completing their training in Odisha, they will undergo training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Uttarakhand and join work in their respective districts allotted to them in Odisha.
