Odisha Chief Secretary is closely monitoring the ongoing relief and rescue operations at train accident site

The Chief Secretary chaired a review meeting at the control room of office of Special Relief Commissioners.Senior officials of various departments of the State Government were present in the meeting.Earlier this morning, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reached the site of the train accident to review the relief and rescue operations. The CM also visited the district headquarters hospital in Balasore to take stock of the medical treatment provided to the injured passengers.The Chief Minister was accompanied by 5T Secretary VK Pandian and other senior officials.Special Govt & Private Buses have been arranged for facilitating movement of stranded passengers.
