‘Pushpa-2’ will be shot in the Barti region of Odisha’s Malkangiri district

Malkangiri:9/5/23: Mythri Movie Makers, the Hyderabad-based film production company, is all set to roll the camera to shoot the second part of their super-hit film ‘Pushpa’ in the bordering area of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. As per plans some parts of ‘Pushpa-2’ will be shot in the Barti region of Odisha’s Malkangiri district.

Telegu superstar Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandana, the male and female leads of the movie, are expected to take part in the shooting schedule in Poleru village of Manyamkonda panchayat under Kalimela block of Malkangiri. On Monday, various props and other shooting set supplies arrived at Poleru village attracting large crowds of local people. Massive wooden logs resembling red sandalwood have also arrived at the shooting location.

According to sources in the shooting unit, Mythri Movie Makers will commence shooting of ‘Pushpa-2’ in the Swabhiman Anchal near Hentalguda Taberu waterfall.

Earlier, a team of Mythri Movies visited different locations in Malkangiri to explore the possibility of shooting the movie here. A few days earlier, a team explored different locations in Poleru and Manyamkonda panchayats.

Meanwhile, security arrangements have been beefed up at the shooting locations. The movie’s action director, production team members, and others have already arrived in Poleru along with shooting supplies.

Interestingly enough, local villagers are excited about the movie’s shooting in the region and are thronging at the shooting site every day with the hope of having a glimpse of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandana.
