HDFC Bank Parivartan CSR Gives Wings to Youth of Odisha

Bhubaneswar:13/4/23: The 5th Convocation of HDFC Bank Parivartan Skill Building initiative was held at Bhanjakala Mandap here on Thursday.

Attending the programme, Usha Padhee , Principal Secretary of Skill Development and Technical Education Department, Government of Odisha, handed over certificates and encouraged the passing out Youths to stand upwards in life.

HDFC Bank Parivartan got the award for best social and governance practices in the financial sector.

Padhee emphasized that as a country our youth population is exponential. We need to nurture, collaborate and groom our Youths for future. She also focused that all need to continuous keep on adding value to one education and skill and keep on learning more.

HDFC Bank Parivartan, CSR initiatives started Skill development centre in Bhubaneswar since 2018 and has successfully imparted skill building training to 6140 youths and also has successfully placed 4521 Youths in Odisha.

HDFC Bank’s CSR initiative has impacted over 87 million in 16 different states in the rural pockets of the country.

HDFC Bank CSR initiative Parivartan aims at socio-economic development of the community in Odisha.

HDFC Bank’s Parivartan spans to 158 villages across 15 districts in Odisha mainly at Angul, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Puri, Kalahandi, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Bolangir, Kandamal, Nabarangpur and Rayagada, Koraput covering 34,082 households.

During its implementation since 2018, the project has mobilized 19,520 youths and 7,045 youths enrolled and 6,140 youths trained with 4,521 of the youths placed in various service sectors.

After 6 years of implementation, the project is producing skillful youths in various domains across different verticals in the service sector- medical, banking, retail, hospitality, and logistics.

The youths have been marking remarkable position in the various trades during this span of last 6 years. Along with the youths the bank has also grown exponentially with regard to the bank’s CSR initiative in Odisha.

The event was attended by Bank officials Animesh Biswal, Nikhil Patra and Rakesh Mohanty.
