Odisha has reported 141 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours taking the total number of active cases in the state to 731

Bhubaneswar: 11/4/23:Odisha has reported 141 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours taking the total number of active cases in the state to 731. According to the Health Department sources 5016 samples were tested for the Covid-19 virus out of which 141 were reported positive. The new infections have been reported from 16 districts.

Meanwhile, in view of the rising trend, the Health Department has written a letter to the Center asking for issue of more Covid-19 vaccines. A two-day mock drill was carried out in various hospitals of the state to ascertain the preparedness in which all aspects such as availability of Oxygen, ICU beds, medicines, ambulances, availability of staff etc were reviewed.
