Bhubaneswar:1/4/23:Odisha Day is a celebration of our four and a half crore Odisha brothers and sisters. Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik has said that our goal is to build the best Odisha, a strong Odisha. Hon’ble Speaker Shri Vikram presided over the program and said that our state has become a leading state in various fields.

On the occasion of Odisha Day, the greeting message of Hon’ble President, Vice President and Prime Minister was read out by Chief Secretary Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh. On this occasion, the guests unveiled the special edition of Utkal Prasang  and Odisha Review. Minister Shri Pradeep Kumar Amat, Ashok Chandra Panda, Ashwini Kumar Patra, MLA Anant Narayan Jena and Mayor Mrs. Sulochana Das were present.

Awards and certificates were given to various individuals for their contribution to education and culture and social welfare. Odissi and tribal folk dances were performed at the end of the meeting. The program was attended by Mr. Satyabrat Sahu, Additional Principal Secretary, Department of Oriya Language, Literature and Culture, and Director, Mr. Ranjan Kumar Das, Director, Information and Public Relations Department, Mr. Indramani Tripathi and other officials.
