14TH TRIBAL YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAMME – 2022-2023 TO COIMBATORE

Malkangiri:12/3/23:On 12th March 2023, in a ceremonial event organized at Sector  Malkangiri, Sh  I h Khan Commandant(Adm), Sector HQ BSF  Malkangiri flagged off the 11th  phase of 14th Tribal Youth Exchange Programme consisting of  21 males and 09 females, total 30 candidates of Malkangiri district who are residing in far flung areas, along with 03 BSF officials  as escorts. During this tour the candidates would visit Coimbatore(Tamil Nadu)  from 14th to 20th March-2023.

During the programme Sh I H Khan, Commandant(Adm), Sector HQ BSF Malkalngiri, Sh A K Singh, 2IC,  2nd Bn BSF, Mr Harish Rupal District Youth Officer Malkangiri and other BSF Officials were also present.

The programme is being organized by Border Security Force (Ministry of Home Affairs) in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (Ministry of youth affairs and sports) Govt of India.Earlier,  nine phases of tour under 14th Tribal Youth Exchange Programme 2022-23 were completed successfully  to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Puducherry,  New Delhi, Chandigarh, Kochi, Panchkula, Hyderabad and the 10th phase to Shimla(Himachal Pradesh)tour  is in progress. In the ten phases, a total of 274 candidates from the Malkangiri district participated

.During this entire tour, the youths shall visit and stay in their venue i.e Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu)  from 14th to 20th  March-2023 and will participate in various events organized by the Tamil Nadu  State. During the visit, they would get an opportunity to meet constitutional authorities such as Governor of the State, great achievers, sports personalities, film/TV stars and other important personalities of the State. They would also get orientation in career guidance and counseling on Industrial training. They would also visit major industries/corporate houses, institutes of national importance, historical and cultural places for better understanding of the social and cultural ethos of the country. The entire program is planned to enhance their level of knowledge and provide them better exposure at a bigger platform which would help them to seek a bright career ahead.
