Non-scheduled flight will take off from Rangeilunda airstrip in Berhampur on March 5

Bhubaneswar:4/3/23: A non-scheduled flight will take off from Rangeilunda airstrip in Berhampur on March 5 (Saturday), on the birth anniversary of the legendary pilot Biju Patnaik.

According to reports, this flight will leave Bhubaneswar at 9:30 am and land at Rangeilunda airstrip at 10:20 am.

The same flight will leave Rangeilunda at 10:40 am tomorrow and land at Biju Patnaik International Airport here at 11:30 am. Similar operations will commence on March 8 (Monday).

Principal Secretary of Commerce & Transport Department, Usha Padhee reviewed the expansion work of Rangeilunda airstrip on Friday.

The expansion work of the airstrip has been intensified. As per plans, a non-scheduled flight is likely to take off from Rangeilunda on March 5, the birth anniversary of former Odisha Chief Minister Biju Patnaik.

Padhi visited the Rangeilunda and held discussions with the administration and police department for more than an hour. She has also visited the under-construction terminal and runway at the airstrip.
