5TH EDITION CENTROXY BHUBANESWAR CITY MARATHON BY KALINGA RUNNERS

Bhubaneswar, 11 Feb 2023:Kalinga Runners Trust (Regd) today announced its forthcoming annual running, marathon event 5th edition CENTROXY BHUBANESWAR CITY MARATHONto be held on 26th Feb. 2023 (Sunday).

Announcing the Marathon Mr.DukhshyamPadhi, PresidentKalingaRunnerssaid, We are Kalinga Runners, a sports club in Odisha working for uplifting and supporting current and upcoming fitness enthusiasts. We aim to play a role in shaping great athletes be it through Running, Cycling, or Fitness Exercises. You will be pleased to know that we have many IronMan (Triathlon) athletes on our team and prolific runners who have made Odisha proud in many national events

Mr SangramKeshari Jena, Secretary of Kalinga Runners, Race director Mr. Deepak Kumar Mishra and members Mr.Jajati Badu.Mr. Manoj panda were present on this occasion.

Speaking on this occasionMr SangramKeshari Jena, Secretary of Kalinga Runners said, we are proud to be associated with CENTROXY, our title sponsor partner for this year’s event.The event has three run categories HalfMarathon 21km, 10km and 5km, with cash prizes and trophies for both men and women awarding top three position finishers. Along with this some other categories will be also awarded.  This year we will have 300 plus runners from Odisha and other states. We have a total cash prize of Rs.75000 for both the genders. We will be also providing good quality tee shirt, medal, on route nutrition support, certificate and other memories through photographs..

Race Director Mr. Deepak Kumar Mishrasaid,Running is one of the proven sports to have built that mental strength and strive to achieve the greatest in life. All the participants will get sportive T- shirt, RFID chip Bib, finisher medal, hot breakfast, run- route hydration, medical supports and ither support, e- certificate and a memorable running experience. This year it will be a timed event like a National standard marathon.

K R, Kalinga Runners, Bhubaneswar established in 2017 by professional runners to promote physical fitness and good health of people in Odisha by way of enrolling members (now more than 300) for training, practice and promo runs, conducting running events and sending its members to participate in national marathon events outside Odisha.
