Odisha Millets Mission (OMM) tableau bagged the first prize at the state-level 74th Republic Day celebrations

Bhubaneswar26/1/23:: The Odisha Millets Mission (OMM) tableau bagged the first prize at the state-level 74th Republic Day celebrations at Mahatma Gandhi Marg here on Thursday.

As many nine tableaux, showcasing the achievements of different departments of the Odisha Government, were presented at the state-level Republic Day parade.

The tableaux comprised Millet Mission, Mukhyamantri Vayu Swasthya Seva, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Basudha drinking water scheme, Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC), Jagannath temple redevelopment project, Mukhyamantri Bayan Jyoti Yojana, Buddhist tourism circuit, Odisha State AIDS Control Society showcased.
Expressing happiness over the OMM tableau winning the first prize, Arabinda Padhee, Principal Secretary of Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, said, “The recognition of OMM in the International Year Of Millets is such a great and happy coincidence.
