Principal Secretary of I & R Department urged the departmental officials to work hard to meet their targets

Bhubaneswar2/1/23:Principal Secretary of Information & Public Relations Department Sanjay Kumar Singh on Monday urged the departmental officials to work hard to meet their targets.

I&PR Department is an important Department of the State Government. The I&PR officials at the sub-division and district levels play a crucial role in dissemination of various welfare programmes of different departments of the Government. However, they need to discharge their duties more responsibly and efficiently to meet the targets, said the I&PR Principal Secretary. Singh greeted the staff and officials of the Department on the first working day of the year

Speaking at the meeting held at the conference hall of the Department, Singh said that various developmental works and welfare schemes are being carried out in the districts. The P&PR officials working at the district level should keep in touch with the Collectors and officials to send at least one success story from each district in a month, which will be published in Utkal Prasanga and Odisha Review, the monthly magazines of the State Government. Similarly, the officials working at the state level should also file success stories from the department that has been assigned to them, Singh urged.He also directed to prepare an annual training calendar on behalf of the Department and prepare a work schedule for regular training and skill enhancement of the officers.I &PR Department Director Indramani Tripathy and other officials were present on the occasion.
